Hint Help
Check out these hints for Math Count 2D and 3D shapes; up to 20 .

Can you find out how many shapes are on the screen? To count them, you need to name each shape with a number in order from 1 to 20. If you call the last shape the number 14, then the number of figures equals fourteen.

Detailed explanation for Math Count 2D and 3D shapes; up to 20

Now you can easily count from 1 to 10. How do you calculate things that are more than ten? Point at each item and give it a name of an ordinal number from 1 to 20.

Did you say "seventeen" when you counted all the items? Then the amount of items equals seventeen.

Did the objects run out when you said "twenty"? It means that the total number of items is twenty.

When you have counted ten items, their number starts with the digit 1. It means that there is one ten (10) in this number. And how many units are in this number? As many as objects left to count.

Have you memorized the golden rule of counting? It says to take into account every shape and not to count the same object twice.

Sometimes it is easy to lose count when we have more than ten shapes. Therefore, when counting, try not to move from one object to another randomly. Choose one direction. For example, you may move from top to bottom, or from bottom to top, from right to left, or from left to right.

It is possible to find out the amount of something in several groups. To do this, find out how many items are in one group. Then, without interrupting the counting, continue calculating the objects of the next group.
