Count the lined-up shapes to determine each figure as a certain number in order from 1 to 5. The number that you named the last figure indicates the total number of all the figures that you counted. The results of the calculation will be 2, if you called the last figure the number 2.
It is easy to count shapes that are arranged in a single row. To do this, decide in which direction you will count - from right to left or from left to right. Start with the first shape (right or left) and move from one shape to another. You need to point to each shape and call the numbers in order from 1 to 5 until all shapes are counted. The number of the last shape that you named indicates the total number of all shapes that you counted. If you named the last shape like the number 3, it means that you have three shapes in total.
Be careful not to miss a single shape or count one shape twice. Your task is to calculate how many shapes are here in front of you.
