Determine the number of subjects. To count the subjects, name each subject a number starting from 1 to 5. The number of the last subject that you named indicates the number of subjects that you counted. If you named the last subject as the number 4, then the result of the calculation is four subjects.
You already know how the numbers from 1 to 5 are arranged in order. This will help you calculate any objects around you. To do this, point out each object in turn and say the numbers in order from one to five: one, two, three, four, five – until the objects run out. If objects ended when you said "four", then the number of objects is four.
Now count the objects in the pictures. Be careful. Remember the basic rules of counting:
1. You need to count each object without missing any.
2. It is forbidden to count the same object several times. Only one count digit should correspond to one object.
