How can we calculate the objects located randomly? Give a name of a number to each object starting from 1 to 5. The number of the last object that you named indicates the total number of all objects that you counted. If you determine the last object as the number 4, it indicates that you have four objects in total.
It is easy to find out how many objects we have that are arranged in a row. And how do you know the number of objects if they are put all over the place? One way is to arrange the objects in a row, and then count them. But this is not always possible. For example, we need to figure up how many peaches are hanging on a tree. What shall you do? You need to point at each peach and call the numbers in order from 1 to 5 until all the peaches are counted. Be careful not to miss a single peach or name one peach twice. To do this, determine in which direction you will count - from right to left, from left to right, from bottom to top, or from top to bottom.
Now count how many objects are illustrated here.
