To find how many days are in the month, look at the last number in the calendar. There are 31 days in July. 

To look up the weekday of any date, find the number assigned for this day. Following the column upwards, we can see that July, 14 is Tuesday.

There are different types of calendars.

Some of them look like notebooks with several pages or as cards with numbers. In any case, the calendar is a table with data. It contains 12 months, numbers, and days of the week.  

Some calendars contain separate pages with months. 

There is the name of the month at the top of the page. The line below shows the days of the week. As we can see, the first day is Sunday, and the last one is Saturday.

Here is the calendar page. It’s June. Find the cell with the number 1.

This number denotes the first day of the month, which is the first of July. This date falls on Wednesday, as we find it is in the column called “Wednesday.” The last number on the calendar page is the last day of the month. Which day of the week is it? It’s Thursday, as this number is in the column called “Thursday.”

So, using the calendar, you can denote how many days are in each month. Moreover, you can find the day of the week for a certain date or identify which day of the week you were born. To do this, take the calendar for the needed year, and find the needed month and the date.
