To calculate items, you need to name a certain number in order from 1 to 5 for each item: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. The number you gave the last item indicates the number of all the items you counted. If you named the last item with the number 3, it means that you have only three items. Do not miss items when counting. Do not count one item several times.
We can explore how many objects are around us. So you will find out how many sweets are in the box, how many toys are in the closet, how many fingers are on one hand, how many chairs are there in one row. Imagine that you had a few sweets, and you ate them all. How many candies are left? Not a single one. If you don't have any sweets, we will say that the number of sweets is zero. If you have a few candies left, you can count their number. To do this, take one candy and pronounce the numbers in order from one to five: one candy, two candies, three candies, four candies, five candies- until the candies run out. If the candies ran out when you said "four candies", then the number of candies is four.
The rules for counting items in a line and items put randomly are not different. The first rule is not to miss a single subject. The second is not to count the same item more than once.
