Hint Help
Check out these hints for Math Which number is larger? .

It is possible to determine which number is greater. Out of two numbers, the largest is the one that is on the right in the number line.

1_2_3_4_5_6_7_8_9_10_11_12_13_14_15_16_17_18_19_20.

If, for example, we take these two numbers, 5 and 7, the number 7 is on the right. So, we can say that 7 is greater than 5.

Detailed explanation for Math Which number is larger?

To find out which number is greater, look at how they are located in the numeric string 1_2_3_4_5_6_7_8_9_10_11_12_13_14_15_16_17_18_19_20. If one number stays on the right from another number, it means that it is the greater of these two. So, the number 8 is to the right of the number 5. Therefore, we can say that 8 is greater than 5. In mathematics, we use a unique sign for the word "more": >

8>5 (8 is greater than 5)

Remember the comparison sign:

> - greater (10 is greater than 8)

You may be confused as the signs are as alike as two peas in a pod. There is an easy way to remember them. It is called the crocodile method.

The sign looks like a crocodile opening its mouth to eat something. The crocodile looks directly to that place where there is more food to “chomp” it.

If you are afraid of the crocs, then look here. There are two points and here is only one, where are more points?

Now find a greater number.
